Let's get hopping-memory keeping
Didn’t you just love the project from Eimer Carvill. I know I did! So fun and creative, what a great way to show case those pictures!
How many years has it been since you had professional pictures done? For this family, about 15 years….OOps!
Life is moving fast and always changing, so with some major milestones happening this year I bit the bullet, we put on our fancy pants and smiled pretty.
If you can’t guess the United States Marine Corps has become the family business. So, I am a lover of all things Red, White and Blue, and with Stampin’ up! and their amazing colors they work wonders with my military pages. Ok so let’s be honest, I haven’t put a scrapbook layout together for awhile. Let me tell you, it felt GOOD!
This is what I started with, love the Large Letters Framelits, easy to use and just what you need when you want to make a WOW Impact.
This is what I ended up with, a great picture and some card stock. Did you notice the handwriting? I used to print everything off the computer, wasn’t a fan of my writing. But then I realized that I love seeing my grandmothers hand written notes, and hopefully the next generations will appreciate my handwriting too.
My last page, I used the NEW Lined Alphabet stamp set and created a look that I first noticed on Susan Wongs blog. The color behind the letters is ink swiped across the whisper white paper with the Aqua Painter.
Do you wonder how I got the word HONOR so straight? One word
“Stamparatus” It’s AMAZING!!
You should check out page 207 in the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Plus all the video’s out there you will definitely want one.
Now check out the start of this blog hop to see what Teresa Brown has come up with for inspiration to show off your pictures.
Hopfully I have inspired you to start memory keeping!
Happy Crafting!
