Beauty of Friendship

There is one group of cards that are always hard to create. Cards that require you to send your condolences and or sympathy. You know that the card is going to fix the problem, your just hoping that the person receiving it will find a smidge of comfort and grace.

Sympathy cards

It seems like you have to make these cards in batches, not sure what that says about our universe. But here is one of my cards that I will be sending to a friend that has to endure losing a child. Did I convey the message that I am so sorry for her lose?

I saw a card sample with the technique of using your blending brushes and creating the squiggly sides. I should have done a video but maybe next time. Here is the Bundle that I used

People ask me all the time what the letters are on my stamp pads. It tells me what Color Family they belong to. So it’s easy peasy for me to put away in my holder. You can find all the inks, card stock, markers and blends in the Stampin’ Up! store

Practicing

Practicing with the brushes

The very last thing on my first card (the one on the left) was I did the garden green blob of land. I wasn’t happy with how it covered up the trunk of the tree. So I started the process over again. This time adding the green blob first and then stamping the tree trunk. Yep, the technical term is green blob or maybe it’s land to anchor the trunk ;))

I did use post it tape that I found on Amazon, it is sticky all over and a great way to hold and be your scrap paper all at the same time.

Stamps you hold onto forever

Some stamp sets just say the right thing when you don’t know what to say

Inside of the card

It always tears at my heart to have to stamp these words.

Thanks for stopping by today,

I hope you like this card

Happy Crafting!
