Pretty In Pink - Hue in Happiness

Gift Card holder

This card is all pretty in pink, I am thinking Molly Ringwald and Ducky, any John Hughes 1980 something fans. I don’t use all the pink hues very often. After this card I will be reaching for them more often. As a bonus this card can holds a gift card.

Stamps: 159238 Happiness Abounds

Ink: 147095 Granny Apple Green

DSP: 158822 Hues of Happiness

Cardstock: 115320 Melon Mambo, 101856 Vellum, 159276 Basic White

Dies: 151770 Layering Circle

Embellishments: 158827 Glossy Dots Assortment

Pink Bouquet on a Card

Directions:

  1. Card Base is cut 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 2 and 5 1/2
  2. Cut DSP 2×4, 3 1/4 x 4
  3. With the Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss machine cut your vellum using the 3 in scallop circle, and the basic white with 2 1/2 in circle
  4. Using a small hole punch cut out the end of the front of your card. You’re going to fold at the 2in score mark, and get a clean crisp fold with your Bone Folder.
  5. Make a small line on either side using Tombow glue, after that fold the front of your card front in half, that is your pocket for the gift card.
  6. Cut our some of the flowers and leaves from the DSP
  7. Attach DSP to front of card, attach the smaller strip to your inside basic white sized 4 x 5 1/4
  8. With Stampin’ Seal attach the Basic White circle to the Vellum circle. Then attach to the front of the card.
  9. Layer the cut out flowers, attach to the front with adhesive.
  10. Stamp your greeting using Granny Apple Green and cut, and attach to front.
  11. Sprinkle the front of card with bling.
